It has been a rough few weeks for once-sentimental favorite Jey Uso. He failed to capture the World Heavyweight Championship against a defiant CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Amid unbridled outside noise questioning his credibility as a main-eventer, the 40-year-old has finally snapped. Taking to Instagram Stories, a distraught Uso could be seen looking at Punk holding the world title. ‘
‘The Yeet Master’ captioned it, “Yall win,” and he notably left a middle finger emoji as well. It’s almost like him venting his frustration out on a good chunk of the audience, which has turned its back on the San Francisco native.
In fact, during the crowd shot of his entrance at Saturday Night’s Main Event, a fan held up a signboard emphasizing that Uso sucked. The latter got later ridiculed for having botched a basic neckbreaker that Punk tried to put him through.

That sequence was so sloppy that the ‘Best in the World’ got up in rage and kicked the back of Uso’s head. The former Bloodline member has a lot to deal with following the SNME loss. He has to settle the score with twin brother Jimmy Uso, who was disgruntled with ‘The Yeet Master’ for eliminating him from the Battle Royal on Raw a couple of weeks ago.
Triple H and his creative team will see this botch and mediocrity and award Jey Uso with another Royal Rumble win next year by eliminating LA Knight or Jimmy Uso😂#SNME #WWERawpic.twitter.com/vBworHeMoi

The Usos are likely to get in each other’s way after Jey’s unsuccessful outing in Salt Lake City. Moreover, the former ‘Right Hand Man’ would need to answer to his cousin, Roman Reigns, as well when he eventually returns. ‘The Tribal Chief’ had bestowed enough wisdom on the former Intercontinental Champion in recent months.
Reigns reminded Uso to stay laser-focused on himself and not bother about his camaraderie with others on the roster. It’d be interesting to see how Reigns would react to Jey squandering the massive opportunity while he had it. ‘The OTC’ has already warned his cousins that he doesn’t want to see their faces until Christmas.
Triple H backs Cody Rhodes after his uncharacteristic title retention at Saturday Night’s Main Event
The other world title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event saw Cody Rhodes overcoming Drew McIntyre in their Undisputed WWE title rematch from Wrestlepalooza. Having accused the referees of working in cahoots with Rhodes, the Scot had negotiated a stipulation in his favor on SmackDown before SNME. McIntyre made the ex-AEW EVP agree to losing his title even if he got disqualified or counted out.

At SNME, McIntyre ended up eating a DDT from Rhodes on the WWE title belt that the Scot had introduced earlier on. ‘The American Nightmare’ followed it up with a Cross Rhodes on McIntyre to retain the title. Reacting to that finish, WWE CCO Triple H took to X and said that a true champion always finds a way to win. This would surely add some insult to McIntyre’s injury.

Speaking of which, ‘The Scottish Warrior’ has broken the silence after coming up short yet again. The Ayr-born wrestler posted a clip from the 2018 Starrcast event where Rhodes did an impression of his former Legacy stablemate, Ted Dibiase Jr.
In it, Rhodes yelled on the mic, “Where’s that referee? He was trying to f**k on me!” By posting it, McIntyre has seemingly directed the blame for his loss on the match referee, akin to what he did after bottling up at Wrestlepalooza.

With two pinfall wins over ‘The Chosen One’, Rhodes could be done with McIntyre unless the latter has other plans. Social media is outraged with WWE’s decision to make McIntyre lose another one of his world title matches. The fans are rightfully upset about the Triple H-led creative continuing to make the former 3MB member look like a laughing stock.
