A top WWE Raw star took a page out of The Rock's playbook to scrape through his opponent at a house show in the UK.

WWE live events are the places to be these days. Having said that, the company’s amidst a multi-week tour in the United Kingdom. Yesterday, at a house show in Newcastle, Jey Uso successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breakker. However, en route to his impressive performance, Jey threw some shade at The Rock.
In a video posted on WWE’s Instagram handle, Uso could be seen delivering his own version of The People’s Elbow on Breakker. And, as evident by the following clip, the 39-year-old nailed the maneuver made famous by The Brahma Bull. Who knows if Jey Uso adds it to his in-ring repertoire moving forward, which could be renamed as The Yeet Elbow, maybe?
Speaking of The Rock, he sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe last Sunday when he returned to cap off the Bad Blood PLE. He hasn’t re-emerged since then, sparking restlessness among his fans. It was first presumed that The Great One had his eyes set on Roman Reigns. However, that was shot down rather quickly after WWE pulled back on a move that quelled the speculation.
Later on, an off-the-air moment caught Solo Sikoa mumbling that it’s all part of the plan. It has led many to believe that Rock’s the one who’s been pulling the strings with Bloodline 2.0. As things stand, there’s no date set in stone for the Hollywood actor’s next WWE appearance.
It might happen next month at Survivor Series, where a Bloodline Civil War is expected to go down inside of the infamous WarGames structure. If that doesn’t happen, it’d imply Rock wouldn’t be back until Raw’s Netflix premiere in January.
The Rock savagely shuts down WrestleMania absence rumors
A few days ago, a report from Dave Meltzer stated that The Rock wasn’t planned to compete at Wrestlemania 41. The seasoned wrestling journo added that Dwayne Johnson had already informed WWE of his unavailability owing to his packed schedule.
Merely hours had passed by before The People’s Champ himself debunked the report, calling it BS. Now that the 52-year-old has cleared up the air, let’s dive into his tentative Wrestlemania plans. Per WrestleVotes, a triple-threat match involving Rock is on the table that’d pit him against Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
Though it’s a far cry from being confirmed, the idea has been broached internally. The fans will get a clear picture of what they could expect from The Final Boss when he decides to break his silence. As of now, it’s all smoke and mirrors.
