Bully Ray surprised after Jey Uso’s victory on Raw
Jey Uso was not expected to win the Intercontinental Championship last night. In the wake of his victory, the 39-year-old received praise from many. The list also includes WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray, who explained that Uso’s win surprised him in many ways.
Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Ray said that he was confident that WWE will not be making Bron Breakker drop the title so early.
I was surprised because I believe yesterday, or maybe last week, we were talking about this and I was like, 'No, I don't think Jey needs to win. I think it would be too early to take the championship off of Bron [Breakker].' I honestly don't know why they pulled the trigger on that last night. Maybe they just wanted to have a great moment on 'Monday Night Raw.' Maybe they just wanted to shock the people. Loved it.Bully Ray via Busted Open Radio
Moreover, the Hall of Famer added that currently, he is clueless about why WWE pulled the trigger on making Uso the champion. However, he has no complaints, as it transpired into a massive moment last night. As such, Ray was positive about the future of both the stars from here on.
