The topic regarding the downfall of the NBA ratings remains spoken about a lot in recent weeks from many involved in and around the league. In particular, Hall of Famer Charles Barkley and Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick were involved in a back-and-forth regarding this topic. Barkley and Redick have a feud over this, but the Lakers coach isn’t giving it any thought.

Redick’s remark regarding the NBA’s current state and dwindling viewership sparked an argument with Charles Barkley. Redick clearly stated to the media that if ‘he was a casual fan,’ he would not have watched the NBA because it ‘sucks.’ These words did not go down well with Barkley. He stated that the Lakers stink and called Redick a ‘dead man walking.’

Now, Redick claimed that although he received the video of Barkley reprimanding him, he did not watch it through to the end. JJ Redick told the media, “Literally, don’t care. I have other thoughts but don’t care.” It looks like the Lakers coach is more focused on his side’s upcoming game against the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA.

As a media personality and former player, Redick offers a unique viewpoint, even though he probably has more to say about it. Also, the Lakers’ head coach is keeping his opinions to himself. Many expected Redick to take the matter further but it seems as if he has opted against it. All attention will now drift towards Barkley’s response regarding this.

JJ Redick’s takeaway from Cleveland Cavaliers is very simple

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 122-110 on Tuesday night, extending their NBA-best record to 29-4. Despite having the likes of LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the roster, the Cavs dominated the match. The Cavaliers’ performance undoubtedly impressed Lakers coach JJ Redick. In addition, he made a significant plea to the media about his team’s defeat.

You have to play close to perfect basketball if you expect to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers this season.
