Joe Burrow may be the star quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, winning an AFC Championship title and a Super Bowl appearance under his belt, but he prefers keeping a low profile. However, he is starting to become comfortable with his fame and time in the limelight.
Being one of the biggest prospects coming out of LSU Tigers (before that Ohio State), Burrow was always going to draw a lot of attention. A Bengals team that has been a dumpster fire since Boomer Esiason realized they had a match-winner in their hands.
Even though Burrow is as competitive as a quarterback can get, he prefers to stay away from any chit-chat or controversies like Aaron Rodgers. However, the 27-year-old is slowly coming out of his shell, but not in a positive manner.
He prefers to remain off the grid so much that his engagement with his girlfriend, Olivia Holzmacher was a big secret until she posted a black-and-white picture on Instagram. In it, Olivia wore a beautiful Diamond ring on his finger, revealing their union.
In a recent sit down with Glenn Cole the co-founder of 72 and Sunny, Burrow spoke about his recent modeling gig with Vogue. He disclosed he struggled to interact with fans and be open to any private conversations in general.
This is [really] the first year that I've felt comfortable sharing more sides of myself with the fans. I think the way the younger generation is going is they [really] want to see the personality of the players, the personality of the people playing the game, and not quite as interested in what's happening on the field... I think that's an exciting time.Joe Burrow told Cole.
Burrow is one of the highest-paid players in the NFL. Last year he experienced a down campaign after injuring his throwing wrist.
