It appears the NFL’s highest-paid quarterback took the time in recovery to reinvent himself into becoming bigger and stronger, as he plans for a startling comeback in the 2024 season. Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals had a failing season in 2023 due to the quarterback’s season-ending injury, but they remain top contenders in the league.
And now, with the 2024 season approaching, the franchise quarterback is aiming to become the biggest threat to the reigning Super Bowl champions and conference rivals: Kansas City Chiefs. For the past several months, Burrow has given his health a priority as he focused on nutrition and lifting weights, which surely made him “Bigger, definitely bigger” as he claims.

The quarterback suffered a severe wrist injury last year in November, which ended the season for him after being benched. However, Burrow shared he has been throwing the ball for some time now, and he feels stronger and also, good about his progress.
Joe Burrow confident in his recovery ahead of AFC challenge
During the news conference on Tuesday, the Bengals star quarterback opened up about his recovery and how he feels good with his body’s current state of health. Burrow’s full recovery is crucial for the Bengals if they aim to dominate the AFC again, especially when their rivals are aiming to create history with a three-peat.

Joe Burrow told the reporters on TuesdayI'm going to be honest with myself about how my body's feeling, maybe a little more cautious than I have been in years past. That's kind of been something that's been on my mind for the last couple months.
.I’m gonna continue to get stronger and bigger throughout the offseason and just play it by ear, depending on how I feel. I’m in a good spot right now. I’m really strong, bigger than I was. We’re gonna continue to eat right, lift and go through my routine and see where I’m at.Joe Burrow added
Burrow aims to feel even stronger when the Bengals open training camp, later in July. That’s why he has been working with his trainer, to make sure he is not skipping any meals.
