Joe Mazzulla praised the Mavericks duo ahead of the finals

Doncic and Irving have turned out to be one of the best backcourts in the league during this postseason. The Celtics will have to create strategies and make plans to slow down the pair in the tough series.

HC Mazzulla is certainly well aware of that, as he spoke highly of the duo. During the press conference ahead of the finals, Mazzulla acknowledged the coaching and the contribution of the role players of the Mavericks as he praised the scoring duo.

Well coached, well prepared. I think they're a great team. You obviously have two really good scorers but I think their role players are great at what their role is and what they're asked to do night in and night out.

Considering both team’s immense talent on either side of the court will make the matchup very exciting. Regardless, the Celtics were the top-seeded team in the entire league during the regular season, the Mavericks have fought battles to defeat the best teams of the West. The series will undoubtedly be a treat for NBA fans.
