Alex Pereira made quick work of Jamahal Hill in the main event of UFC 300. Even more than the finish, what happened before was more beautiful than the knockout. Due to the circumstances of the knockout involving Herb Dean, commentators Joe Rogan, Daniel Cormier, and Jon Anik went wild.

In his recent podcast episode with Max Holloway as the guest, Rogan spoke in-depth about the UFC 300 fight card. After all, Holloway had a scintillating performance at the PPV, bagging $600K in bonuses. Moreover, the duo also talked about Alex Pereira’s knockout of Jamahal Hill.

It's a mistake by Jamahal [Hill], protect yourself at all times, but also, it does seem like there's a moment of confusion...He does close that distance significantly. It's like a double step.

The finish happened seconds after Hill kicked Pereira in the groing. However, as referee Herb Dean stepped in, to halt the fight, Pereira stopped Dean. An ice-cold Pereira had his full concentration on his opponent. As such, he made minute adjustments even after the low blow and found the target for his signature left hook.

Even after the knockout, Pereria entertained the crowds with a TikTok emote. Surprisingly, Hill already has his next fight scheduled, against Khalil Rountree at UFC 303. On the other hand, Pereira does not have a fight lined up, even though he expressed his interest in fighting at heavyweight.

As such, it was no wonder he spoke highly of Pereira in the recent episode of JRE. The BMF champion Max Holloway, the guest on the podcast also had good things to say about the Brazilian. He had earlier mentioned the resemblance of Pereira and his face swapped picture to Thanos.

He's [Alex Pereira] a monster. That guy's a monster. I was telling everybody about that guy when he was in Glory. When they were saying he was coming over to the UFC, I was like, I told DC, I go, 'Dude, get ready for this motherfu**er 'cause this motherfu**er puts people into orbit, brother. He's got cr*zy power.'

Holloway hilariously insinuated Pereira might have the ‘Infinity Rings.’ It was the same assessment Daniel Cormier made when he was on JRE. It is somewhat true, as Pereira has collected two belts, each with Glory Kickboxing and the UFC.
