Stand-up Comedian Theo Von recently joined Joe Rogan for a lengthy conversation on The Joe Rogan Experience. At one point, the discussion turned political. That’s when Rogan brought up Dave Bautista. He talked about numerous celebs being trolled for voting to bring Kamala Harris into the office, including Dave. Rogan said it was silly. But then he revealed what got into Bautista’s head. 

Rogan, who endorsed Trump on the eve of the election day in the US, said Dave embraced performative commercials, which, as per Joe, Bautista wouldn’t have been able to pull off without politicking for Harris and Tim Walz. Rogan said he understood that the former WWE Champion wore pearls to the red carpet events and had shed weight just so he could land some lead roles in the movies.

The UFC commentator further said that’s what Hollywood looks for in someone—wear the beads and lose a bunch of weight. On top of that, talking trash about Donald Trump makes one look like a tough guy, claimed the show host. Rogan then turned into his co-host Von, asking whether he saw that skit Bautista did on Jimmy Kennel Live berating the president-elect.

In the clip, Dave talked about Trump wearing makeup, and being afraid of birds, and said he’s someone who bends over for Russian president Vladimir Putin. Rogan argued that for a musclebound figure like Dave, he had to soften up his stance by putting over Harris and Walz in order to get into more movies.

One of Trump’s biggest henchmen, Glenn Jacobs aka Kane, recently aimed a dig at Dave Bautista after Kamala Harris conceded the elections. The Mayor of Knox County posted on X that Trump, Kane, and The Undertaker are 1-0 against Harris, Walz, and Bautista.

That was a reference to the elections being treated as a six-man tag team match by The Undertaker in a previous TikTok video he did with Donald. As one can see, a number of legendary wrestlers were quite vocal about the 2024 presidential elections, which also included Hulk Hogan. A local TV news reporter even accused WWE fans of influencing the polls and allowing a dictator like Trump to take over.
