With the 2024 US presidential elections nearing, WWE legend Dave Bautista has seemingly confirmed who he’ll vote for. Taking it to his X account, Batista sent a message to his fans and urged everyone to vote early. More importantly, The Animal posted a photo of himself wearing a Kamala Harris–Tim Walz t-shirt, and snubbing other candidate Donald Trump.
Along with the photo, Bautista shared a vlog of his visit to his local county office in Tampa, FL, as he cast his vote there. Further, he explained how voting early is beneficial for people. The former WWE Champion revealed that it took him only 20 minutes to complete the process. Big Dave emphasized his message by saying that it was too important to miss out on this year’s elections.
The former Evolution member’s endorsement of Kamala Harris doesn’t come as a surprise. Bautista hasn’t shied away from speaking about his political views in the past. During the 2020 elections, the 55-year-old not only supported Joe Biden but also took a dig at Donald Trump. Batista implicitly called the latter a ‘bully’, claiming that he wasn’t as tough as he pretended to be.
Made my freedom heard. Voting early took me 20 mins—no excuses. Freedom isn’t something we just talk about; it’s something we act on. Do your part, get out there, and vote. Your voice matters, and this election’s too important to sit out https://t.co/GIVfsIlsXl #VoteEarly… pic.twitter.com/xrRuI3olAh

In addition to Dave Bautista, The Rock was another wrestler-turned-actor who supported Biden in 2020. However, The Great One later admitted that he regretted his decision to openly express his political views. In fact, the Black Adam star recently condemned the assassination attempt on the WWE Hall of Famer. The Final Boss also heaped praise on Trump for showing bravery after getting shot.
What did Dave Bautista have to say about John Cena’s retirement tour?
In 2025, John Cena will be bidding adieu to his wrestling career with a farewell tour. One of Cena’s biggest rivals, Dave Bautista, commented on his upcoming retirement. Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, The Animal said that he couldn’t do a similar tour like Cena.
Batista explained how it would feel disingenuous to him, adding that he finds it difficult to get the crowd to cheer for him. However, the former WWE Champion stated that he understood why Cena is retiring the way he is.
Big Dave also refuted any claims of a rift between him and The Franchise Player. According to the WWE legend, it was just a rumor spread on social media. As for his own wrestling career, Bautista confirmed that he would never return to the ring, claiming that he was content with the way he bowed out.
