The game has to slow down for you… Honestly, I feel like that’s where my strength is as a driver… I need to be the smartest driver out there, because I’m not the fastest driver out there, and I know that. There’re certain tracks that fit my wheelhouse, there’s certain areas, certain lines, things that work for me better than others.

Joey Logano uses the Tom Brady argument on his favor

Whie further talking about his point of getting the best out of driver fastest than him, Joey Logano explained how being the smartest played on the pitch made Tom Brady a GOAT footballer. So, it isn’t always about being the fastest on the track in NASCAR, as it would never be enough to get the bets result.

There’s other drivers that could go faster than me. So, I need to figure out a way to beat them. Look at Tom Brady… Is he the most athletic guy on the football field? Not even close – but he was the smartest one out there, wasn’t he? He won a bunch of championships. So, I think there’s just so much more to it these days than just being fast like that’s just not enough anymore.

Joey Logano said.

The comments from Joey Logano makes a lot of sense and it is something drivers coming up the ranks should listen to. Alongside thriving for being the fastest driver on the track, always work to become the smartest as well and success is almost guaranteed.
