Joseph Thomas Logano, a.k.a Joey Logano, is a professional stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup series for Team Penske Racing. The two-time Cup-winning Italian American was born in Middletown, Connecticut, to Deborah B. and Thomas J. Logano on May 24, 1990. He is married to Brittany Baca and has two sons and a daughter.
Known for his aggressive racing style and hunger for the win, Logano made a name for himself in the midget and late model series before making it in NASCAR. He made his NASCAR debut in the Truck series for Joe Gibbs Racing in 2008. He made his Truck and Xfinity series debut the same year. His full-time NASCAR debut came in Cup for JGR in 2009, and he hasn’t run a full-time schedule in the other two national series. Logano left JGR in 2012 following a rift with his teammates and management and Joined Team Penske Racing.
Joey Logano is a two-time NASCAR champion, and both his titles came in the Cup series with Penske. He won his first title in 2018 and the second one in 2022. He became the youngest driver to win a truck series race by winning the 2008 Kentucky Xfinity series. He scored his first Cup win in New Hampshire in 2009, making him the youngest driver to win a Cup race. Logano has 31* Cup race wins, 30 Xfinity series wins, and 1* truck race win on his resume.
