Speaking to Collider, the Hollywood star explained that portraying his character as nearly unbeatable was designed to make his defeats feel more significant within the story. He noted that whenever he lost, it created a dramatic shift in the WWE Universe. To achieve that impact, he and the company had to craft an arc where the 16-time WWE Champion rarely faced defeat.

He described it as one capable of selling out stadiums for the company. Additionally, the legend expressed confidence that Cena will deliver an incredible performance, regardless of who WWE ultimately pairs him against at WrestleMania.
