John Cena recently appeared on the Club Shay Shay podcast, hosted by pro-football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe. The two talked at length about his long professional career and the future of WWE. The Cenation Leader also revealed many hilarious stories from his past, including one where he recalled buying a fake Lamborghini.

During the interview, Cena was asked about his worst purchase. The Hollywood superstar mentioned that he did not want to shill out the money for a Lamborghini. Hence, he purchased a fake one that had the engine of a BMW V12.

John Cena mentioned that in 2003, he found a company that would make him a fake car with a V12 engine. He said that the fake car highly resembled the original and looked incredible. However, the dealer tried to stiff him out of the deal. Afterward, the 47-year-old had to use his contacts to locate the dealer and find his car.

I found a company that could do it. They put a V12 in it. Like, ‘Man, it’s the same thing. It looks pretty good. It looks great. Yeah, I’ll buy it.’

Cena finally got his hands on the car after waiting for two years. Unfortunately, it did not meet his expectations at all. The car was highly dysfunctional and could not be driven on the road. The former WWE Champion then sent the car to over ten motor repair shops in order to get it to work. After trying to fix it since 2005, he only got the keys to that car last week, nearly 19 years later.

John Cena reveals his choice for the greatest WWE superstar of all time as Roman Reigns

During the interview, Cena was asked who he thought the GOAT of WWE was. Without hesitation, he named Roman Reigns as his pick. He said that it was incredible to name someone as the greatest of all time who is still an active wrestler and has multiple years of his career ahead of him. He mentioned how the SmackDown Superstar had come in at a very high level on his debut with The Shield, unlike the 16x World Champion who started on the bench and worked his way up.

Even when the fans weren’t fond of the Big Dog, he was always in the main event spot. Still, he turned his career around as a magnificent heel and finally became a huge babyface after receiving huge cheers from the crowd during his SummerSlam return.

He’s been in it since 2012, I had to work my way up. I started on the bench and then got onto the Saturday program, and then just lost every match. He came in with The Shield in a really high-level spot and never wavered.

Cena claimed that Reigns had given the company unprecedented growth. In 2012, WWE stocks were trading at around $11. Now WWE/TKO stocks have risen to $117. He asserted that this was all on the OTC’s shoulders. The 39-year-old even generated $800,000 in revenue for the company within 24 hours at SummerSlam.
