Jaws were dropped, and who knows how many people would’ve pinched themselves to remain in their senses and realize that John Cena did, in fact, turn heel at the dawn of his in-ring career? Although he’s partly explained his motivations behind it, the actor’s father is clueless. As seen in the following video, John Cena Sr. could be heard dismissing some inquisitive faces.

The former ring announcer for Chaotic Wrestling retorted that he’s been sick and tired of people inquiring about his son’s course of action. The WWE legend’s dad instead asked those curious about Cena’s frame of mind to walk up to the 47-year-old and hear from the horse’s mouth. It’s evident that the fans aren’t still able to wrap their heads around what John has done.

This past Monday on Raw, The Cenation Leader picked up from where he left in Brussels. His intentions of ruining wrestling for everyone, though, sound flimsy and could have long-term repercussions. After surpassing Ric Flair, whom Cena mentioned during his promo, the Peacemaker star has vowed to leave WWE high and dry.

If Cody Rhodes loses his Undisputed WWE title to the once-regarded Babe Ruth of WWE at WrestleMania 41, it’s all downhill from there. John has already threatened to retire with the coveted prize. By doing so, he wants to be remembered as the last real WWE Champion. No matter if he’s dumping on his fans at the moment, kids continue to back him up. A viral teenager whom The Cenation Leader blasted on Raw knows that his idol is oozing vitriol due to the character he’s playing.

The Rock’s omission in John Cena segments evokes frustration among fans

When John Cena went low on Cody Rhodes at the Elimination Chamber, The Rock was there. He’s literally the one on whose behest Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect sold out. But since the Toronto-hosted PLE, The Final Boss is nowhere to be found. Outside of CM Punk blasting the Hollywood mogul, the latter hasn’t been acknowledged by his associate, Cena.

Not once in the couple of rants he’s done about the fans has John cared to explain why he aligned with The Great One. It continues to baffle the audience. The wrestling pundits believe Rock’s WWE absence is somewhat dampening the Cena/Rhodes plot. Next week, Raw is headed to the O2 Arena in London.

Who knows if The People’s Champ comes out to stir things up once again? Even though Rock isn’t expected to wrestle anytime soon, he might pull out all the stops to help Cena become a record-breaking 17x World Champion at WrestleMania. However, that’d only suffice when the audience gets to know the nature of their on-screen relationship.

Saraya extols ‘magician’ John Cena after pulling off epic heel turn

On Wednesday, veteran female wrestler Saraya, fka Paige, shocked the fans by announcing her AEW exit. She has iterated that the parting of ways was quite amicable, and she has nothing but nice things to say about her ex-boss, Tony Khan.

Outside of that, the British grappler recently offered her thoughts on John Cena‘s WWE heel turn. The 32-year-old told Good Karna Wrestling that Cena is probably enjoying getting to let out the frustration he’d been harboring for years. Saraya lauded The Franchise Player for being one of the best when it comes to having in-ring psychology.

She also added that she advises every budding wrestler to watch the 16-time World Champion and one of his greatest rivals, Randy Orton. The Anti-Diva spoke highly about both of them, especially highlighting their ability to tell stories off the nuances. The former AEW Women’s Champion noted that Cena has the audience at the palm of his hands with the kind of reaction he elicits from them at will.
