The Washington Wizards legend John Wall played against his former team to only hand them over their 10th loss of the season. Wall led the Houston Rockets by 24 scoring 24 points. Whereas Bradley Beal scored game-high 33 points for the Wizards. It was a return for Russell Westbrook at the Toyota Center. But wasn’t a happy return in any manner. Neither was Westbrook able to score big as per his standard nor he was able to get the victory for the away team.

John Wall had scored 15 points by halftime. Houston was leading by six when Wall re-entered the game with about seven minutes left. He scored five quick points before finding Victor Oladipo in the corner near the Washington bench for a 3-pointer to make it 93-79. The Wizards called a timeout after that, and Wall yelled and jumped as he looked at the opposing bench before bouncing back to the Houston side.

Wall and Westbrook were both given technical fouls soon after that when they jawed at each other as Westbrook prepared to shoot free throws after being fouled by DeMarcus Cousins.

Oladipo and Eric Gordon added 20 points apiece to help the Rockets to their third straight win.

At the end of the game, Beal scored 33 points to give him at least 25 in each of his 12 games this season, extending a franchise record. Westbrook, who spent just one season in Houston, scored a double-double with 19 points, 11 assists and 7 rebounds. This cannot take away the fact that the Wizards were missing 6 players because of health and safety protocols. After missing the action on the court for 2 weeks, the Wizards have ended up losing both their games.
