Russell Westbrook is an American point guard who plays for the Los Angeles Clippers. Currently in his 15th season, “Brodie” is a nine-time All-Star and has been named to the All-NBA team nine times. Westbrook earned the NBA Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) for the 2016–17 season. He also led the league in scoring in 2014–15 and 2016–17 and won back-to-back NBA All-Star Game MVP awards in 2015 and 2016. Westbrook is also the NBA’s all-time leader in triple-doubles.
Russell Westbrook was selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft by the Seattle SuperSonics, who then relocated to Oklahoma City that same week. The guard was a member of OKC for more than a decade. Following his storied tenure with the team, he has played for the Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Lakers, and currently, the Los Angeles Clippers.
