Kevin Durant has played with some all-time great players throughout his 18-year NBA career. He has played with the likes of Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, Devin Booker, and more. However, he has won championships with only one of them.
Drafted as the number two pick by the Seattle SuperSonics (before being renamed to Oklahoma City) in the 2007 NBA draft, Kevin Durant has established himself as one of the greatest scorers to ever play the game. When Russell Westbrook was drafted by the Thunder in 2008, the two joined forces and were one of the most devastating offensive duos in the NBA.
During their time together, they took the franchise to its first-ever NBA Finals in 2012. However, they were beaten by LeBron James and the Miami Heat in five games. The two spent eight seasons together before Durant signed with the Golden State Warriors in 2016. While there were rumors of Westbrook and Durant reuniting in Houston after Fred VanVleet‘s injury, nothing materialized.
When Durant decided to move to the Warriors and join forces with Stephen Curry, the move was received negatively by fans and pundits. He spent just three years with the Warriors, but they were the most successful years of his career.
Durant won two NBA Championships and was named the Finals MVP in 2017 and 2018. They made it to the final once again in 2019, but Durant was unable to compete. The Warriors ended up losing to the Toronto Raptors in six games.
The two-time champion sat down with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson and was asked who the best player he’s ever played with is in his career. Durant chose both Westbrook and Curry.
It’s a tie between Steph and Russ. With Russ I never ever feared that he was gon lose a matchup. That’s one thing I never worried about. Having that comfort from the point guard just made my life easier and I felt the same way with Steph.

Since his departure from the Warriors in 2019, Durant has moved to three different clubs. He moved to the Houston Rockets this offseason. His constant moving between teams over the last five years has some doubting him that he is chasing rings.
Kevin Durant says he has one more year in him
While Durant has grabbed the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately, it has not stopped him from shining on the court. Currently in his 18th season in the NBA, Durant has shown no signs of slowing down. In his first season with the Rockets, the forward is currently averaging 26.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 52 appearances.
During the interaction with a fan, Durant was joking around with his followers when a question about his future in the league sparked the conversation. He began chanting:
One more year.

With Durant still performing at a high level, it is safe to assume that he has more than one year left in him.
NBA Analyst urges Ime Udoka to make Kevin Durant clean his “Own Mess”
With Durant not addressing or answering any questions about the alleged burner leak, the topic remains open to debate. Although it hasn’t been confirmed that the account belongs to him, he has been subjected to heavy scrutiny.
NBA analyst Brian Geltzeiler had a suggestion for Rockets head coach Ime Udoka regarding the whole situation on the Sirius XM NBA Radio.

Here’s how I would look at it if I’m Ime Udoka. ‘You got yourself in it, KD. Figure out how to get yourself out of it. You’re a big boy, I have a basketball team to coach’. Guys will get over their feelings being hurt, but we have a mission as a basketball team. And if there’s a problem, take it up with Kevin Durant. This is not a 23-year-old player. It’s a 37-year-old guy, who was drafted in 2007. It’s his mess to clean.

Durant has been himself on the court after the All-Star break. The Rockets beat the Charlotte Hornets but lost to the New York Knicks on the second night of a back-to-back. Durant scored 35 and 30 points in his last two games.
