Johnny Knoxville is one of those celebrities who got the chance to have a match at WrestleMania. To the surprise of many, he even defeated Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 38. However, it looks like he wasn’t satisfied with the win, as he expressed his desire to have another match against him.

While speaking with Howie Mandel on his podcast, he was asked whether he wanted to get into the wrestling ring again. Johnny Knoxville not only showed interest but also insulted his WrestleMania 38 opponent, Sami Zayn. The Jack** star stated that he would love to smash the Underdog from the Underground’s face once again at any time he wishes.

Knoxville further went on to say that even though he was considered to be a ‘good guy’ now, it did not affect him. He even went as far as to claim that facing the Underdog from the Underground didn’t pose much of a challenge. They engaged in an Anything Goes match, in which it was a straight-up melee between the two, involving some hilarious moments.

Unfortunately, Zayn has completely transformed himself into a perennial main eventer in WWE. He, along with his partner Kevin Owens, became the Undisputed Tag Team Champions at WrestleMania 39. In addition to that, he did the unthinkable and defeated Gunther to become the new I.C. Champion at WrestleMania XL. Needless to say, the 53-year-old should carefully reconsider his choice to engage in another bout with him.

Sami Zayn gave his reaction to Johnny Knoxville’s challenge to wrestle again

Although Johnny Knoxville laid out a challenge to the current Intercontinental Champion, it looks like he is in no mood to fight him again. He expressed his opinion loud and clear about his adversary on social media.

After the 53-year-old star’s comments, Zayn took to X and labeled him as an unhealthy person. Knoxville’s attitude towards him was still rude, compared to the I.C. Champion who moved on in his career. However, on the other side, the then-El Generico could think about having a rematch to avenge his embarrassing loss.

However, Zayn has other important things to worry about. After becoming the new I.C. Champion at WrestleMania XL, he has made some enemies in the form of Chad Gable and Bronson Reed. Nonetheless, Sami Zayn will face the tough challenge of living up to The Ring General’s dominant reign.
