“Fifteen to four, Khabib fans, are you kidding me?” Jon Jones still can’t get over the claim that Khabib Nurmagomedov is the GOAT

Jon Jones and Khabib Nurmagomedov

Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov vs Justin “The Highlight” Gaethje is history and Khabib will go down in the history books as arguably the greatest lightweight of all time in UFC History. In fact, it is high time everybody declares him as the GOAT. The Dagestani fighter hung up his gloves after beating his opponent Justin Gaethje with ease via. a triangle choke, saying that he will not be able to compete without his late father and also that he had promised his mother. It is safe to say that October 24, 2020 was the last day Khabib stepped into the octagon.
Amidst all this, there is one person who is not happy with the GOAT claim about Khabib Nurmagomedov. It is none other than UFC Heavyweight Jon Jones. Ever since, people started calling Khabib the GOAT when he announced his retirement, Jon Jones has come up with a barrage of tweets to prove that he is “the” GOAT!
“Are you guys’ kidding me?” – Jon Jones weighs-in on the GOAT debate
Jon Jones took to Instagram posting a video saying, “I’m talking to all you Khabib fans out there. Fifteen world titles to your guys’ four, and you guys are really talking about who’s the best fighter ever? You guys are joking, right?“
A surprised Jon Jones kept reiterating the fact that he has 15 title defenses while Khabib just has 4. “Fifteen to four. Are you guys’ kidding me?,” he said.
Jon went on saying, “The only person that could possibly come back and challenge my record and what I’ve done in the UFC is possibly Georges St-Pierre. He would have to come back and win two championship fights to tie me, and I’m not even retired yet. I’m 33 years old. I’ve got a whole another chapter to go through.”
