Jonny Bairstow is the key opener for the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise. Hailing from England the 31 year old opener made his IPL debut in 2019 and amassed 445 runs in that season. He provided a solid start along with the David Warner and duo looked so dangerous during the powerplay. This year was also a good outing for the English opener as he scored 248 runs of 7 matches. This is the third year for Bairstow in the SRH camp and definitely he would know his teammates well and what they are up to.

Jonny Bairstow revealed the biggest prankster present in the SRH squad in a video posted by the official twitter handle of Sunrisers Hyderabad and the claim made by the English batsman was supported by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Brad Haddin.

Priyam (Garg). He’s the one that is up to mischief. He is the first one to try and cake bash you. He is the first one to sneak up on you. He’s always the quiet one saying ‘I don’t understand, I don’t understand. But he understands!” Bairstow exclaimed.

Bhuveneshwar Kumar has known the youngster right from his childhood and so Priyam Garg tries to act like a good guy staying silent when Bhuvi is around. “But he keeps quiet in front of me because I have known him since he was a kid. We practiced at the same place. He somehow keeps quiet in front of me and tries not to do any mischief,” Kumar revealed.

Priyam Garg hailing from Uttar pradesh is former U-19 captain of India. In domestic cricket the 20 year old crciketer plays for Uttar pradesh and represents the Orange army in IPL. He played a memorable knock against CSK in the 2020 edition of IPL making a destructive knock of 51* runs from just 26 balls steering his team to a compatible score of 164/5 in the winning cause. Though Garg did not find himself in this year’s playing XI, the youngster is looked to be the future opener of the orange army and has great potential to captain the national team with the street smartness the young cadet possess.
