Jorge Masvidal
“BMF” champion Jorge Masvidal is going to face the welterweight champion of the UFC, Kamaru Usman, in a title rematch at UFC 261, and this grudge match is worth the wait.
Jorge “Gamebred” Masvidal started a fight in the underground battles hosted by the legend Kimbo Slice, and he earned a name for himself there. Now Masvidal is looking to do something similar for the young talents from the street.
Masvidal announced his new promotion with the Bare Knuckle Fighting through his Instagram, he wrote, “Huge news for true fight fans as me and the one and only @anuel have teamed up to bring you the most vicious fights we could think of Bare-Knuckle MMA. That’s right no gloves same rules and the first fight will be in Miami on June 25. Every fighter will be outfitted by Anuel’s clothing Brand which translated in English means “Real Until Death” #andnew #realhastalamuerte Gamebred Fighting Championship”
Fighters under this new promotion from Jorge Masvidal can sign with the UFC if presented with a deal
According to MMA Fighting, the new promotion has secured a one-year broadcast deal with Bare Knuckle TV, which will serve as the exclusive distributor of their content, they will organize additional bouts under unified MMA rules, and if fighters are presented with a deal from the UFC, they can sign it as well.
The promotion also plans to travel to states where bare-knuckle fighting isn’t legal carrying on the normal events under unified MMA rules. Masvidal has risen up from the streets and it looks like he is giving back to the people and to the MMA fighters who needs it more than anything,
In recent memory we can highlight many events where fighters pointed out the conditions of MMA fighters, and how they find it hard to even sustain themselves, in such scenarios an initiative of this kind can help a lot.
