Jose Mourinho hits out at Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola after loss against Liverpool

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur succumbed to a 2-1 loss against Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League. The match to separate the top 2 spots in the league ended in despair for the Spurs. Jurgen Klopp and his men reached 66 games unbeaten streak at Anfield in the Premier League. That’s quite an astounding record.

At the end of the match, Jose Mourinho revealed what he said in his conversation with counterpart Jurgen Klopp. Apparently he told Klopp that the better team won.

Klopp was displeased with this answer and obviously their views differed. Mourinho was visibly unhappy with the animated behaviour of Jurgen Klopp which is a signature style of the German who likes to jump like a monkey throughout the match.

However what Mourinho wasn’t pleased with was the hypocrisy in the fact that if he did the same; he’d probably be sent to the stands.

“I told him the best team lost. He disagreed. That’s his opinion. By the way, if I behaved the way on the touchline like he does, I have no chance to stay there – I’m out.”

Furthermore Jose Mourinho also took a dig at Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola who had a riff with referee Taylor after just 4 minutes of added time was shown in the match against West Bromwich Albion. “Do you want me to take the table with the time from the fourth official? For some reason I am different. And that’s that.”
