When the Buffalo Bills drafted star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to a conference rival, the Houston Texans, it seemed like a big mistake. But they knew what mattered more to them was a positive locker room environment which more or less was affected by him. Seeing the chemistry of Josh Allen and Keon Coleman, they were indeed right.

The Bills’ star quarterback is excited about his pairing with rookie Coleman– whom he also welcomed personally saying he’s exactly who Allen wanted. While talking about the wideout during his recent appearance on Mad Dog Sports Radio hosted by Adam Schein, Allen showered high praises claiming he hasn’t seen such a talent in his six-year career playing in Buffalo.

He's got a different skill set than maybe what I'm used to. I don't know if I've had the type of skill set that he brings to the table as an option before; his ability to go jump and catch back-shoulder balls, be strong at the point of the catch.

Allen believes having a player like Coleman adds value to the team and helps them win games in this 2024 season. After both Diggs and Gabe Davis parted ways with the Bills this offseason, the team is heavily relying upon the rookie to compensate and thus, they’ve been giving him a major role in the offense

The two-time Pro Bowler concluded his stance by admitting that his pairing with the Florida State product wouldn’t be perfect right away. But in those times, he intends to work on their bonding since both of them love football dearly.

Josh Allen earns captaincy respect from Keon Coleman

The best part about the chemistry between Allen and Coleman is they reciprocate the same level of respect and love for each other. When Coleman was asked about the Bills’ signal-caller– who was called as the team’s captain, he complimented him by saying he ‘earned’ that title.

He's a very vocal guy. He leads by example, leads by communicating how each guy learns. On and off the field, he's a great person... he knows how to cater to each person.

He also reflected on his personal relationship with the 2023 rushing touchdown leader sharing that Allen has been like a big brother to him. The Bills are counting on this chemistry and bonding between its quarterback and wide receiver since their pair can also make the team a contender for the Super Bow.
