“Dragging his stuff across his face…” Josh Hart embarrassed in front of Tracy Morgan as LeBron James’ humiliating dunk gets replayed
Jalen Brunson teasing Josh Hart on their podcast will never get old.
LeBron James poster on Josh Hart was widely discussed on the podcast
Josh Hart, the Knicks shooting guard has played for multiple teams in the past. Not only that, but the 29-year-old has also played alongside the King, LeBron James. However, after his trade from the Lakers to the Pelicans, Hart faced the wrath of his former teammate.
James has a highlight reel of his posters, though some of them are straight-out hilarious. Back when Hart played for the Pelicans, he was punished by James, as his team faced the Lakers on the road. The same poster was discussed on Hart and Jalen Brunson‘s podcast, Roommates Show. While watching James’ posters, Brunson reminded everyone of James’ poster on Hart.
It kind of reminds me of when he dunked on you. And like there's a pic, no I'm not even trying to be funny... There's a picture of Josh and it looks like LeBron is dragging his, I don't know, stuff across his face...Jalen Brunson said
It was a funny moment when Brunson brought this up during the episode. Hart is an athletic defender, though being on a LeBron James poster, will be something he’ll remember all his life. While there are no questions about his ability to defend on the perimeter, Hart will have to give his all as the Knicks look forward to the postseason.
Josh Hart just got assigned a challenging role
Hart has mostly played the role of a shooter, though in New York his role is more dynamic. The Knick has been shooting a mere 31% from deep. However, he is leading the league in rebounds when it comes to guards under 6-foot-4. Putting up 9.4 points, 4.1 assists, and 8.3 rebounds a game, his contribution to the squad has been valuable, though more will be needed as the Knicks play without their star forward, Julius Randle.
Randle suffered a shoulder injury and was ruled out for the rest of the season. While Brunson will have the scoring load, which as seen in the past, is handled perfectly by the former Wildcat, Hart will have to take some responsibility from beyond the arc. Donte DiVincenzo has been the primary shooter, making 40% shots from deep.
Each asset of the Knicks will be held valuable as they face the Sixers. The Sixers, coming off a Play-In tournament victory over the Miami Heat are coming in hot and have some advantage over the Knicks. Joel Embiid, the reigning MVP will look to make it past the New York Knicks in the first round. It will be interesting to see how things play out for Hart and company this postseason.
