Jrue Holiday agrees with Jason Kidd that Jaylen Brown is the best player on the Boston Celtics

So far in the NBA playoffs, Jaylen Brown has remained the best player on the Boston Celtics. He outshined his illustrious teammates and led the team to their 2nd NBA Finals appearance in 3 years. Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd affirmed this notion, and Celtics teammate Jrue Holiday agreed.

The defensive ace was a guest on SiriusXM NBA radio recently. During the interview, he was asked about Kidd’s comment on Brown. The Celtics guard said Kidd’s assessment was on point and highlighted the offensive and defensive output of Brown.

I don't think he's lying. I think JB, he's been aggressive in every single way. He's been getting to the paint, getting to the free-throw line, also making plays for other people. And then, he's guarding Luka, he's guarding their best player... That's hard to do, especially against somebody like Luka.

Jaylen Brown has consistently led the Boston Celtics in scoring throughout these playoffs. But along with that, his defense in Game 1 showed that he would do everything needed for them to win. More importantly, as Holiday said, Brown is guarding the opposition’s best player.
