Real Madrid failed to claim a win over Rayo Vallecano on Saturday night. Even though the Los Blancos had to settle for a 3-3 draw, fans were impressed to see Jude Bellingham get on the scoresheet.
The Englishman has been in impressive form for the past few games, with his goal against Vallecano being proof of the same. The No. 5 stepped up right when it mattered, when Real Madrid was trailing in the final minutes of the first half.
With Federico Valverde dragging Real back into the game, Bellingham’s headed finish sent the away fans into pandemonium. Getting on the back of Rodrygo‘s cross into the penalty area, the 21-year-old did well to guide the ball past Augusto Batalla.
He's never out of form Fgs! He's been better all season round.

Bellingham now has 30 goals in all competitions (62 games) since joining the Spanish giant. Bellingham also joined the exclusive company of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema as the only three players to have scored in 5 or more consecutive La Liga appearances in the last ten years. As of now, Bellingham has 6 goals and 4 assists in the League this season.
Fans react to Jude Bellingham’s impressive performance
Following the 3-3 draw against Rayo Vallecano, several Real Madrid fans were disappointed. However, Jude Bellingham attracted all the praise as his stellar form helped salvage a point.
A fan commented that Bellingham shouldn’t even be compared to the likes of Pedri and other midfielders. Another pointed out that the Madrid man has as many goal contributions as Lamine Yamal and Pedri combined since the start of the last La Liga season.

Stop comparing Bellingham with these players. He has proven he is superior a long time ago.

Pedri and Yamal didn’t play as strikers

Despite the praise, rival fans focused on his position on the pitch, which has continually been up for debate. A rival fan said that he no longer fits the description of a midfielder and should be seen as a striker.
Some even said that no matter how many goals Bellingham scores, he cannot be better than Pedri. Bellingham has picked up six goal contributions in his last five appearances in all competitions.
Real’s next game is against Sevilla and then Valencia after the winter break. Despite Bellingham’s best efforts, fans were rather disappointed to see their club spurn yet another golden opportunity to overtake rivals FC Barcelona.
