Jude Bellingham created a mind-blowing moment to savor for Tom Brady. The New England Patriots Hall of Famer, like the millions across the globe, had to rub their eyes several times to understand what happened at Gelsenkirchen in Germany.
On Sunday, the England National Soccer side trailed due to a 25th-minute goal from Slovakian striker Ivan Schranz. The English were struggling to pass the ball through a stingy Slovak midfield.
It took them until the 94th minute to finally make a chance count. Kyle Walker, known for his deep throws, tried his luck and found the head of teammate Marc Guehi.
The Crystal Palace defender then flicked the ball ahead, setting up Jude Bellingham perfectly for an overhead volley. As soon as the man from Real Madrid hit the ball, it went past Slovakia goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, who was rooted to the ground.
Tom Brady, who has been keeping tabs on the local Birmingham boy since his Borussia Dortmund days, had only one reaction.

Tom Brady’s association with soccer
The 46-year-old after more than two decades of NFL life, retired in 2023. He won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, side by side, Brady has admired other sports as well, one of them being soccer.
Brady became a part owner of an English soccer club, Birmingham City FC, which coincidentally was Jude Bellingham‘s first club. His brother Jobe also played for the midlands side as well.
However, the 15-time Pro Bowler’s first year with the blue half of Birmingham ended in a disaster after the side got relegated to the English third division. After the sad conclusion, Brady tried to cheer the fan base up with a message.
Thank you for your support in a tough first year, Bluenoses. We have a long way to go, but it’s because of all of you that we’ll achieve great things in the future.Tom Brady wrote on X (formerly Twitter)
In June, Brady visited the record French champions Paris St. Germain. Even though his Patriots No. 12 has been retired, the PSG representatives specially gifted him one of their jerseys with Brady’s 12 on the back.
Then he flew across the country to LeMans for the 24-hour LeMan Grand Prix. While speaking with the media, he unveiled the new Birmingham City FC jersey for the 2024 season.
Tom Brady is loving the retirement life. His second innings in football as an analyst on FOX will begin in September during the Browns vs. the Cowboys game.
