WWE has been teasing some tension within The Judgment Day once again. Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor have been unable to get on the same page for quite a while now. Things only escalated further on the latest episode of Raw, where these two superstars had another heated interaction.

A backstage segment on the latest episode of Raw featured Balor greeting the Women’s Tag Team Champions. They wished him well for his Intercontinental Championship match against Bron Breakker later that night, and he reciprocated the feeling for their future matches. Mysterio walked into the fray and said that he had an idea to discuss. Liv Morgan tried to stop her partner from speaking more, but he pushed through with his suggestion.

Mysterio said that ever since JD McDonagh went out with an injury, the group was suffering from a lack of muscle. Now, he had finally figured out who could be the newest addition to their group. Balor already seemed irritated by these statements but continued listening. ‘Dirty’ Dom suggested that Penta should be added to The Judgment Day.

Balor started going off on his stablemate. He said that after all they had been through, Dominik Mysterio was going behind his back, talking to people to try to recruit them to their faction. Furthermore, the choice he ended up on was Penta. The Luchador had announced earlier that night that he was going for the Intercontinental Championship, a title that the Irishman was also gunning for at the same time.

Who is going to be The Judgment Day’s newest member?

There have been talks of bringing a new member into The Judgment Day for a while now. Mysterio believes that adding a new member and shaking things up is exactly what the group needs. However, Finn Balor disagrees and wishes to keep things as is. If the faction does indeed end up getting a new member, the most likely candidate at the moment seems to be Aleister Black.

It was recently reported that Black departed AEW after his contract expired. Allegedly, he had wanted to part ways with the company for quite a while now. Now that he is a free agent, nearly everyone expects him to return to WWE, especially considering that Triple H is now in charge.

The latest episode of SmackDown even featured an eerie teaser that showed smoke blowing over a black screen, and then the number 4 appeared. Fans seem to think that this vignette is a teaser for Black’s arrival to WWE. Although The Judgment Day is on Raw, and this clip aired on the blue brand, the former NXT Champion would be a great way to revitalize the faction and would even match their gothic theme.

The Judgment Day shows further cracks during Finn Balor’s match against Bron Breakker

The main event of Raw featured Finn Balor challenging Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship. Now, the heel faction has won and retained many titles by using the numbers game to cause a distraction. However, this time, the group simply could not get on the same page.

After a brief interaction on the outside, the champion seemed to be in control of the match. Carlito and Dominik Mysterio ran down to the ring. The inaugural Universal Champion almost got a roll-up victory thanks to this distraction.

The pair went back and forth in the ring, and Breakker got his opponent up for the Frankensteiner. However, Carlito distracted the referee, and Mysterio got in Breakker’s face. This caused Balor to also lose his balance. The champion took advantage of this opportunity, took out The Judgment Day, and won the match after landing a Frankensteiner and Spear.

Following the match, Balor’s teammates tried to make it up to him by beating down the champion. However, Penta then ran down to the ring, taking out Mysterio and Carlito. Breakker hit a spear on the latter, Penta grabbed the IC belt, and these two superstars stared each other down to end the broadcast.
