Justin Gaethje is undoubtedly one of the most entertaining fighters on the current UFC roster. The former BMF champion likes to put on a show every time he enters the octagon to fight. His last outing at UFC 300 didn’t go as planned, but now Gaethje is ready to bounce back with a potential fight with Dan Hooker.
Justin Gaethje recently posted a video on his YouTube channel where he shared details about his day-to-day life. The American fighter then talked about his next fight, potentially at UFC 313. Fans were intrigued about what was next for Gaethje as it turns out Dan Hooker might be the answer. After all, they are both ranked in the upper half of the rankings.
I know there’s a fight in March 8 in Las Vegas so that’s the one I told them I wanted to be on. I think they’re figuring out fights right now but I’m certainly mentally preparing, physically preparing to fight on that date. I think it’s going to be Dan Hooker but with the UFC, things can always change.

At UFC 300, Gaethje risked his title run and fought Max Holloway with the BMF title on the line. It was an absolute classic with numerous bloody exchanges between both the superstars. It ended with Gaethje falling face-first in the very last second and losing the bout.

Gaethje is aware of the impact he might have coming back from a brutal loss like that. The lightweight fighter didn’t rush and has taken almost a year to recover. Fans are now intrigued to watch him take on Dan Hooker, who is known for his bloody and reckless fighting style.
Dan Hooker predicts a lightweight title shot after a few more wins
Dan Hooker has had a great comeback in the last few years since winning the bout against Claudio Puelles. Since then, the fighter has racked up a three-fight win streak and is looking unstoppable going ahead. His recent performances have revitalized his career, positioning him as a formidable contender in the UFC lightweight division.

It has to be something big. A lot of guys in the top five are ranked ahead of me are coming off of losses….when everybody above you stars singing your name it becomes apparent that you are gonna get a fighter ranked above you.
