Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert and Madison Beer are making the most of the extended holiday break. They are hitting all the famous joints, gradually making their mark as an up-and-coming power couple.

The Chargers hit a roadblock on their way to AFC West dominance, losing to the Indianapolis Colts in week seven. Herbert threw 3 touchdowns and racked up a 100.7 quarterback rating, but at the same time, turned the ball over twice, which helped the Colts secure a win.

Herbert redeemed himself in the following game, even though he and the Chargers had just four days to prepare for it. The 27-year-old dropped 289 total yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception as the Chargers sent the Minnesota Vikings packing.

Hours later, Herbert was back in action once more. On this occasion, he chaperoned his rumored girlfriend, Madison Beer, to the Crypto.com Arena to watch Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves square off against the Timberwolves.

The lovely pair was spotted in a different location the next day. Cameras at Dodgers Stadium in downtown LA filmed Herbert and Beer enjoying the MLB World Series between the Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays. However, it’s unclear whether they stayed until the 18th innings or not.

A different source posted a few candid pictures of Herbert and Beer at a Halloween Party, wearing matching sailor outfits.

Justin was first seen with the ‘Reckless’ singer ahead of the start of the 2025 season. The 27-year-old visited Beer on the sets of her music video in LA. Days later, they were seen roaming the streets together while holding hands. Eyewitness reports told Heavy.com that Beer has frequently attended the Chargers game in LA to cheer for Herbert.

Beer recently performed at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York, which she described as her Super Bowl. The Chargers have a massive game at SoFi Stadium against the Pittsburgh Steelers two weeks from now. The paparazzi would be expecting to catch a glimpse of the Grammy nominee.

Justin Herbert’s Chargers are urged to trade for a surprising running back from the NFC South

The Chargers have a 5-3 record after eight weeks of football, but could have performed better if they hadn’t faced a series of injuries in one crucial position. Ahead of the 2025 campaign, head coach Jim Harbaugh brought in veteran running back Najee Harris from the Steelers and drafted UNC graduate Omarion Hampton.

However, Harris tore his Achilles tendon during Week 3, and Hampton is on IR until the end of November. 2024 sixth-round pick Kimani Vidal has deputized for the Chargers in the meantime, but Christopher Kline of FanSided urged Harbaugh to trade for Rico Dowdle from the Carolina Panthers.

An injury to rookie Omarion Hampton has opened the door for a short-term investment at running back. Rico Dowdle is a free agent at season’s end, but he’s enjoying a dominant stretch with Carolina in lieu of an injured Chubba Hubbard, with 368 yards over his last three starts. Dowdle’s 5.6 yards per carry currently leads the NFL. He’s the workhorse running back who could take the Chargers offense to another level.

Dowdle has been phenomenal in his first year in Carolina. Aside from exacting revenge on the Cowboys, the South Carolina graduate has racked up 605 yards on 106 carries for 2 touchdowns. With Hubbard back in the frame, the Chargers should make a call to Carolina and inquire about his availability. However, they need to make it quick because the deadline to wrap up trade deals is November 4.
