Karl-Anthony Towns is having the best year of his life on and off the court. After playing an instrumental role in helping the New York Knicks lift their first championship in 53 years, Towns celebrated another big moment in his life on Saturday.

The Knicks center and Jordyn Woods threw a lavish wedding as they tied the knot in Malibu, California. The newlywed couple has been dating each other since 2020. The wedding capped an extraordinary stretch for Towns with another ring and celebration.

Several big names and personalities attended the big day of Towns and Woods. Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet, Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, Ben Stiller and even some of Towns’ Knicks teammates such as OG Anunoby, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart were all seen at the event.

While the wedding was filled with A-list attendees, there was an unexpected cameo at the wedding. Towns was seen holding the Larry O’Brien Trophy when he came out with Woods to the dance floor. It was later confirmed that it was the real trophy.

Towns and Jordyn Woods have come a long way and have been captured multiple times in public over the years. They were longtime friends before they began seeing each other in 2020. Woods has shown immense support and has always been protective of Towns.

The former number one pick has been through some difficult times in the last few years. He lost his mother and six other family members during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. It looks like Woods has helped Towns turn his life around as he celebrates two of the biggest moments of his life in a few months.

Karl-Anthony Towns’ Knicks teammates joined him on his biggest day

Towns has often faced criticism over his performances in recent years. However, the 30-year-old bounced back strongly this year and was one of the Knicks’ best players during their championship run.

The big man will go down as one of the greats in Knicks’ history. After falling short in the Eastern Conference Finals last year, Towns and his teammates ended the Knicks’ long wait for a championship.

Just two months after their memorable Finals win, the Knicks players got together for Towns’ and Woods’ wedding. The groom was joined by Brunson, Hart, Anunoby, Jose Alvarado and Miles McBride on his big day.

The married couple shared some intimate photos from their wedding.

Towns’ ceremony continued a summer of celebration for the Knicks. Guests received sweatshirts that read “Married in 5,” a nod to the Knicks’ playoff run. It is heartwarming to see Towns secure two of the most important rings of his life alongside his teammates in one year.

Karl-Anthony Towns and the Knicks will receive their championship rings on October 20

When the NBA released the schedule for the 2026-27 campaign, the opening-night fixture caught everyone’s attention. The Knicks will be hosting the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden on October 20.

It marks the night when the Knicks will hang the championship banner. Karl-Anthony Towns and his teammates will also receive their championship rings during the ring ceremony. However, they will try not to get too carried away, as the 76ers will be looking for some revenge after getting clean swept by the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals last season.

The current 76ers team is very different compared to the team the Knicks faced last season. They have added the likes of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown to their starting lineup. After the summer they just had, the 76ers are seen as the biggest contenders to challenge the champions in the East.

The Knicks will be unfazed by the new challengers as they get ready to defend their title in the upcoming season. Meanwhile, Towns will be enjoying his post-wedding celebrations with Woods.
