While some stay silent to mourn all that’s lost, Karl-Anthony Towns‘ girlfriend Jordyn Woods expressed her disorientation at the news. The latter lamented the loss of her memories at the expense.

Woods, a Los Angeles native, felt emotional after gaining information about the wildfires in the city. The social media influencer took to her Instagram handle to reminisce about her childhood memories. She recalled her time at the place with her father, mourning the loss of California that it was. Woods sent her prayers, saying that she lost sleep over the tragedy.

I have so many memories of and with my dad on PCH. California as we know it will never be the same. Our kids and our future will never get to see the same place we once knew. Praying for those affected. I couldn’t sleep last night. Praying for a miracle.

Woods, girlfriend of Karl-Anthony Towns, also posted her sheer disbelief on her X account. Per reports, 10,000 structures have been destroyed, making it the most devastating wildfire that has ever hit Los Angeles. Furthermore, 10 people have been found dead, with the actual numbers unknown because of the safety of the investigators.

All activities have been moved around to ensure the safety of the involved. The NHL had rescheduled their Los Angeles Kings vs. Calgary Flames game, previously set for 8th January. Similarly, the NBA moved the Los Angeles Lakers and Charlotte Hornets contest hours before the game was set to begin.

Los Angeles Rams take action after fire breaks out nearby practice facility

Several matches were moved around to adjust to the situation in Los Angeles. Similar to Jordyn Woods, the Los Angeles Rams also felt the impact of the fires on Thursday while at practice. The situation demanded immediate action from the team to ensure safety.

Per reports, smoke plumes were visible not more than five miles away from the facility in Woodland, California. The Rams, taking note of the situation, canceled the media availability scheduled for later that day to make sure the players reached their homes.

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay also spoke about it on the same day, expressing his sentiment. He shared how the homes of several Rams personnel saw first-hand impact, later expressing gratitude that no one was injured. Furthermore, he sent his prayers to all those battling the fires and hoped the situation would subside soon.
