Harrison made her debut in the UFC on the historic UFC 300 card. She went up against one of the best in the division, the woman who knocked out Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm. Harrion’s fight with Holm cemented her position as one of the best in the business. She effortlessly dominated Holm and made her tap in the second round. Holm is a decorated striker in the UFC. However, she was only able to land seven successful strikes against Harrison.
Harrison has never been one to shy away from a challenge. She’s a born competitor, and the chance to test herself against the best in the world was simply too enticing to pass up. The UFC title holds a special distinction in the combat sports circles. As such, Harrison wanted the most prestigious title in MMA to add to her already stacked accomplishments. Only time will tell if the American Judo specialist will win the UFC gold.
