‘Keeping up with the Icardis’, Tottenham forward Ivan Perisic to testify at trial involving former teammate Mauro Icardi

Tottenham Hotspur star Ivan Perisic was in Milan on January 25 to testify at a trial involving his former Inter-teammates Mauro Icardi and Marcelo Brozovic and the ex-partner of the Argentinean striker Wanda Nara. The trial results from a lawsuit filed by Brozovic, Icardi, and Wanda against Italian paparazzo Fabrizio Corona who claimed in 2009 that Wanda and Icardi had broken up because she had an affair with Brozovic.
The first hearing occurred in October, but neither Icardi nor Perisic, who is involved as one of the witnesses, showed up to a Milan court. As a result, Perisic was fined €500. Perisic testified in court on Wednesday before returning to London. Icardi, who has since left Inter Milan and joined Paris Saint-Germain, did not show up to the court again, resulting in his lawsuit being automatically canceled. This leaves only Wanda and Brozovic as the remaining plaintiffs in the case.
Icardi spent six years at Inter, scoring 124 goals in 219 games before joining PSG in 2019. He has recently split up from Wanda, who was also his wife and agent. The trial and the events surrounding it have certainly created quite a stir among fans and the media alike, as they await the final verdict in the case.

The relationship between the stunning model and the Argentine star has been tumultuous in recent months. As the couple finally broke up in December 2022, In November, it was reported that Icardi was dating a Turkish actress, and shortly after, Wanda was spotted kissing rapper L-Gante.

Despite this, Wanda has confirmed that their relationship has ended once again, stating in an interview with Nerazzurri Siamo Noi, “There is no prize for those who resist. I want someone who makes me happy.”
She stated, “when peace ends in a relationship, things don’t work out for me.” Though it appears that Icardi may not want to separate, Wanda made it clear that since October, she had decided to distance herself from the relationship.
For the moment, the former couple is maintaining a distance with collaboration as Mauro Icardi has a contract with Galatasaray until May; she rented an apartment in the same building where he lives so that he can be with their children, adding that he is a great father.
