The backlash from fans against breakdancing’s Olympic inclusion was swift and severe. Garnett and Pierce’s comments are just the latest in a long line of criticisms. As such, it seems that the IOC has taken notice as it was revealed that it will not feature at the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.
