Kevin Holland wanting a rematch with Darren Stewart
After winning against Darren Stewart at UFC Vegas 11, Kevin Holland states his desire to fight the same opponent again. Holland defeated Stewart via split decision. As this pandemic has proved to be tough times for some fighters. It is the total opposite case for Holland as he registered his third victory in the COVID-19 era after UFC Vegas 11 win.
After the victory, Kevin Holland revealed in the post-match interview that he had an interesting interaction with Khamzat Chimaev at the backstage of UFC Apex. Holland went onto claim that, that instance made Chimaev catch his attention as he keeps a close tab on him now.

Talking about the key moment of the game, Holland said, “The past few weeks, everything’s been fantastic. I can’t complain. The only thing I can complain about is not getting a finish. Hats off to Stewart for going out there and giving me a tough fight.”
Holland also suggested that he is not like other fighter, who would perhaps be happy with a win against their names. Holland was adamant on getting a finish but courtesy to the last judge scoring the fight in his favor by 1 point, Holland emerged victorious.
Lastly Holland spoke about what he wants next, “Our fists just aren’t as tough as our faces, so we just kept going. He started using his elbows at the end and cut me open. If he didn’t cut me open, we could have run our rematch sooner. Thanks for giving me some time to go home and work on some things.”
