This week’s SmackDown prominently showcased Kevin Owens and his ruthless antics. In the opening segment, he interrupted WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, leading to an intense brawl. Later in the show, Owens faced the former WWE Champion in a singles match, where he displayed his villainous behavior by mercilessly defeating the legend in front of Mysterio’s daughter at ringside.

During the match, Owens dragged the WWE legend to ringside, where his daughter, Aliyah, was seated. Owens attempted to break Mysterio’s spirit by slamming his head against the guardrail. However, The Master of 619, with sheer determination, fought back and gave The Prizefighter a taste of his own medicine. Aliyah showed her support for her father by cheering him on throughout the match.

Despite Mysterio’s valiant efforts, he ultimately fell short against Owens. The former Universal Champion used his cunning tactics to deliver a ‘Pop-up Powerbomb’, securing the victory over the Hall of Famer. However, Owens took his aggression to another level when he attempted to decimate the luchador with a ‘Package Piledriver’.

As Owens prepared to deliver the piledriver, Cody Rhodes rushed to the ring to save the Hall of Famer. However, The Prizefighter retreated at the last moment, clutching his Winged Eagle Championship belt. All eyes now turn to the Royal Rumble, where the two stars are set to collide in a ladder match to determine the Undisputed WWE Champion.
