“Disgusting,” FRUSTRATED WWE Superstar berates Cody Rhodes over being responsible for Pep Guardiola’s Man City’s dismal losing streak
The Kyle Walker-led side has lost its way since trouncing Southampton about a month ago. Is Cody Rhodes the one to blame for?

Eight-time Premier League champions Manchester City are in a spot of bother. The Sky Blues haven’t registered a win in seven of their previous encounters. An account on X named Wrestling LAD indicted Cody Rhodes for bringing misery to Pep Guardiola‘s men since visiting them. And Kevin Owens feels it’s disgusting, quoting a reply to the original post on X.
The American Nightmare was invited by Man City to the Etihad Stadium last month when WWE was touring the UK for live events. Rhodes, in an interview with the EPL club, admitted that star striker Erling Haaland is someone he’d least like to be in the ring with. Cody also found some resemblance in City’s goalie Ederson due to the neck tattoo.
Needless to say, the former AEW EVP had a ball with The Citizens. But why’s Owens mad at Rhodes? It’s not that complicated. The Prizefighter is upset at the fact that the Undisputed WWE Champion voluntarily sided with Roman Reigns at Bad Blood. It was after the PLE that Kevin snapped and turned on Cody in a callous parking lot assault.
This past Friday on SmackDown, Owens listed reasons for why he’s right about Rhodes being in the wrong here. KO felt betrayed seeing his former friend Cody helping Roman. The latter and his Bloodline did everything in their power to inflict as many hardships as they could on Owens in recent years.
So Kevin has every right to have a chip on his shoulder. Isn’t it? At least, he believes so. But on the other hand, Rhodes claims that the Canadian wrestler doesn’t have anyone but himself to blame for his woes.
Kevin Owens will take it to Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event
A rivalry that’s been brewing for quite a while now is expected to culminate in a couple of weeks time. On December 14, Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE title against Kevin Owens at Saturday Night’s Main Event. It’d mark WWE’s return to NBC in the primetime slot for the first time since 2008.
Promoting their match on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last Thursday, The Prodigal Son alluded to his bitter rival having issues with manhood as he often takes offense to Cody’s suits.
A lot of fans are still wondering why their match couldn’t make it to Survivor Series: WarGames this past weekend. Earlier today, Owens came across a conspiracy theory against him on X. It alleged WWE of denying him a spot at the Vancouver PLE as he’d have been cheered over Rhodes in Canada.
