Khabib Nurmagomedov Tributes His Father And Announces FNG & GFC Joint Tournament

UFC Lightweight Champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov tweeted about a tournament that’s going to be held today. He announced about a joint tournament with Fight Nights Global and Gorilla Fighting Championship in the memory of his father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov who recently passed away due to COVID-19 attack. He mentioned to invite his audience to the Irina’s Gymnastics Center.
Khabib is popularly known because of his extraordinary skills and abilities inside the Octagon. Till date where he stands undefeated. He made his Mixed Martial Arts debut in the year 2008 and he has never stopped. He is a two time Combat Sambo World Champion. “The Eagle” has marked his name among the MMA legends with his outstanding strength and victories.
“The Eagle” Pays A Tribute To His Father
He is dedicating the tournament to his father, who was his mentor, his inspiration, his coach and was a world renowned MMA coach. His father, aged-57 battled with coronavirus for a long time and was extremely ill. And on July 3, 2020 he passed away.
Khabib tweeted, “Salam alaikum!

The 31 year old has conquered 28 career wins, no losses and has broken several records. He holds the longest active undefeated streak in MMA. Joe Rogan once said, “He’s the most terrifying lightweight contender in the world. He’s just on such another level that the odds of beating him drop significantly after the first minute-and-a-half.” He has defeated some of the best UFC fighters in the world, including Conor McGregor, Pat Healy, Rafael Dos Anjos and Edson Barboza. Having to go face to face against Justin Gaethje is considered to be Khabib’s ultimate test, but experts and fanatics do prefer him over his opponent.
