Khamzat ‘Borz’ Chimaev is undefeated in his short yet impressive MMA career

UFC hottest prospect Khamzat Chimaev, will finally be making his debut on American soil. As he is reportedly set for a clash against Gerald Meerschaert at middleweight. The fight is expected to take place on September 19 and will be on the undercard of the welterweight main event between Tyron Woodley and Colby Covington.
Responding to the middleweight fight, Gerald Meerschaert had a message in store for Khamzat Chimaev.

UFC President Dana White also confirmed that Khamzat Chimaev will be fighting both at the UFC Apex and will be returning to Fight Island as well. Wherein he initially made his promotional debut. Chimaev’s next fight at the UFC Fight Island would be against welterweight fighter Demian Maia.

Earlier in the year, Khamzat Chimaev made his UFC debut at Fight Island, fighting against John Phillips. The former dominated Phillips throughout the entire fight. Before finishing him off in the 2nd round. Within the span of 10 days, Chimaev made his return to the octagon this time at welterweight. This time he fought UFC newcomer Rhys McKee. Similarly even in this fight Chimaev was ever so dominant. He finished McKee within the 1st round of their encounter.

The UFC newcomer has caught the eye of several top fighters with his impressive promotional debut. Moreover Chimaev has even called out former UFC Double Champion Conor McGregor on a few occasions.
