Klay Thompson is ready to move on from his successful 13-year run with the Golden State Warriors and start a new chapter with the Dallas Mavericks. Thompson reflected on his decision to leave the Warriors in his first interview since joining the team.
Thompson acknowledged that the split was difficult at first, but he’s come to realize that it was necessary for his growth. He cited Scottie Pippen’s transition from the Chicago Bulls to the Portland Trail Blazers as an example, noting that sometimes change is needed to achieve greatness.
