Warriors HC Steve Kerr and Stephen Curry ‘respected’ Klay Thompson’s request

Former Golden State Warriors player Klay Thompson will be returned to the Chase Center on Tuesday night. But this time as an opponent.

Regarding this, a lot of noise was surrounding Thompson’s return to the Chase Center. Because reporters were seeking answers from Warriors HC Steve Kerr and star Stephen Curry. However, Kerr and Curry opted against it.

As per Anthony Slater of the Athletic, Steve Kerr stated that Curry would not speak to the Klay Thompson crowd before the game. He claimed that after talking about it last night, Steph and Klay agreed that they would rather concentrate on the game following the tribute video.

Klay Thompson joined the Mavs in July on a three-year, $50 million deal, with every Warriors employee invited to his farewell. The 34-year-old missed over 2.5 years, including the entire 2019–20 and 2020–21 seasons, recovering from Achilles and knee surgeries.
