When talking about Track and Field, one can never miss out on Usain Bolt. The Jamaican has not only torn apart world records but has changed the sport dynamically. Having won 8 Olympic Gold Medals, no one ever comes close to be compared with the Lightning Bolt.
However, a 16-year-old kid, Erriyon Knighton has the entire world talking about him as he runs 200m in just 20.33 seconds. The kid has earned some worthy praise. On being compared with Bolt, before turning 17, the latter ran 200m in 20.13 seconds. Surprisingly, Bolt has set the national record with his timing for the same race.
FloTrack Posts Evidence of ‘Erriyon Knighton’ being a ‘Beast’ in the making
FloTrack posted a video of Knighton on their Twitter handle, quoting, “Erriyon Knighton ran a wind-legal U.S. No. 1 in 20.33 AND set a new 200m national record. Did we mention this is the 15-16-year-old age group? He’s unbelievable.”
Hillsborough High School in Florida has offered a contract to the 16-year-old. As with this pace, he could ace in any field.
