Battlegrounds Mobile India for iOS devices
The wait is finally over as Krafton has released BGMI for iOS. India’s own battlegrounds crafted by Krafton with India centric events is finally avaialble for iOS devices. Although the game will not be displayed directly on the App Store, players can download BGMI for iOS through the link provided in the article.
Battlegrounds Mobile India was released for Android devices on 2nd July,2021, they were also able to pre-register for the game and get exciting rewards in return. However, iOS users were exempted from that but today the release of BGMI for iOS devices comes 47 days after the release of BGMI for Android devices. Ever since its release, BGMI received immense popularity which is evident from the fact that BGMI has crosses 50 million downloads on Android devices.
With several social media posts teasing the launch of BGMI for iOS, Krafton has finally fulfilled the wishes of several Indian iOS users who were eagerly waiting for the game’s release.
Krafton launches BGMI for iOS devices
Krafton in the official website of Battlegrounds Mobile India has released a notice where it informs us that BGMI for iOS is currently under maintenance of authentication system which means players won’t be able to login to the game using their Apple ID for a certain time. This confirms the launch of Battlegrounds Mobile India for iOS devices.
The authentication maintenance will commence under the following period-
Schedule : August 18 (Wed) 06:40 ~ 09:40
Krafton has also stated-
"This is an estimated timeframe; if the maintenance is extended or completed early, we will notify you through further notice"
Players won’t be able to download the game directly if they search ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’ for iOS devices. However, they can download it through the official link we have provided.

- BGMI is free for both Android & iOS. Click on Get and your game will start downloading.
- Login from any of your social media accounts

Players of iOS devices will also be able to register for BGMI India Series 2021 as Krafton had extended the registration period for players from the earlier date of August 1,2021. The closing date for registrations has not been revealed yet. Moreover, the officials of Krafton have informed that the officials have recorded 540,000 registrations as of 16 August 2021 for BGMI India Series 2021.
Krafton has also provided the launch rewards which were provided to Android users. Not only that, iOS users will also be able to get the 50M downloads reward i.e. Galaxy Messenger Set permanently and the rewards of previous phases. With BGMI achieving a huge feat of 50 million downloads in Android devices only, it will be intriguing to see the growth of BGMI’s popularity on iOS devices.
