After the ‘Problem Child’ knocked out former UFC champ Tyron Woodley, YouTube personality KSI gave fans a long-awaited update on his future boxing battle with opponent Jake Paul.

Jake Paul is coming off a knockout victory against Tyron Woodley on December 18, which was his sixth professional boxing victory.

With an unblemished professional record, Paul is eyeing larger opponents soon to add to his portfolio — but fellow YouTuber KSI is still waiting in the wings for his turn to fight the influencer-boxer.

After Jake triumphed over AnEsonGib in early 2020, the two have traded verbal punches on social media and even had a heated faceoff.

Ever since it’s been an unwritten certainty that the two will eventually touch gloves – but, according to a recent update from KSI, that day may come later instead of earlier.

While KSI expressed his desire to pound the youngest Paul sibling into the canvas in a December 31 response video, he confessed that he’ll have to wait till his calendar clears.

KSI discusses why a battle with Jake Paul is unlikely to materialise anytime soon

During his recent video on his Youtube channel, KSI stated the following concerning the highly anticipated Jake Paul Boxing match:

“I will, to this day, tell you that I still feel like I could beat Jake Paul,” he began. “I don’t care if he knocks out all of these people. Styles make fights, and I know my style would slap up Jake Paul.”

“At the end of the day, I could say this, I could say that, it doesn’t matter. I’m not fighting right now. So who cares? Do I wanna fight? Yes. Can I fight? No.”

“It’s not gonna happen anytime soon,” he continued. “Don’t hold your breath. …Things have to slow down in my other sectors of life before I can actually think about boxing again.”

Given his work with the Sidemen, his thriving music career, and other ventures, it appears that KSI is booked solid for the time being… But he’s not ready to let go of his anger towards Jake.
