Kyle Anderson orchestrated a crucial play
The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 100-105 in Game 4 of the Western Conference Playoff Finals. Notably, the Timberwolves star duo Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns performed brilliantly for their side, clinching this crucial win in this ongoing series. However, Kyle Anderson of the Timberwolves has been garnering much praise recently.
Anderson has been making rounds on the internet due to a video of him directing plays in the middle of the game going viral. In the video, Anderson is seen telling KAT to make a particular run and asking Edwards to pass it in the blank spot where KAT was standing, resulting in a 3-pointer to the Timberwolves.
In the victory, Edwards nearly triple-doubled to lead the Timberwolves. He finished with 10 rebounds, 9 assists, and 29 points. Towns shot 9 of 13 from the field to end with 25 points and five rebounds. Also, he shot 4-of-5 from behind the arc. Each of the five starting Timberwolves players scored in double figures, and as a team, they shot close to 53% from the field.
On the contrary, the Mavs star players, Kyrie Irving, Luka Doncic, and P.J. Washington‘s performances were not enough to secure the win for their side in game 4. For the Mavericks, Doncic concluded with another triple-double. In the defeat, he finished with 28 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists while only shooting 7 of 21 from the field. Kyrie Irving, who had only made one of six shots from outside the arc, contributed 16 points and four assists.
Anthony Edwards shares his views regarding game 4 win against Mavs
The Minnesota Timberwolves star man Anthony Edwards made sure that his side would not get swept in the WCF Playoff FInals in game 4 against the Dallas Mavericks. He dropped 29 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists on the Mavs and was one of the star performers of the match at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
Not only that, Edwards was questioned following the game about what made this game different from the others.
