Two times NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch was in for a nightmare week when he came to the All-Star race at North Wilkesboro. He had a poor race thought, starting with a clash on lap one with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. that resulted in the RCR driver wrecking the JTGD Racing driver on the very next lap.

The drama didn’t end there as after the race, Kyle Busch had a heated confrontation with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. which ended in the latter punching the veteran on his mouth. NASCAR didn’t take this dram lightly and Stenhouse was given a hefty $75,000 fine, which many in the racing community saw as too severe.

The No:8 Chevy driver was asked about the fuzz around the penalty ahead of the Coco Cola 600. He didn’t have any opinion on the severity or if Stenhouse deserved more. When asked about the incident he asserted that it was possible to avoid it, but the situation escalated too quick for him to do anything.

It doesn’t matter whether I agree or not, NASCAR makes the penalties… Maybe but I walked into the situation and just, it was calm to start and then escalated from there.
Kyle Busch told Bob Pockrass.

I don’t need to fight with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. I need to fight with the top three guys so I can start winning some races.
Kyle Busch said.

RCR has been struggling to get Kyle Busch out of the midfield battles and back to winning ways. Till they do so, Busch and Stenhouse Jr. would battle each other more this season. It would be interesting to see how the battle between the duo will playout in the coming races.
