Kyle Thomas Busch is a professional Stock Car Racing driver who drives full-time in the NASCAR Cup series for Richard Childress Racing. The two times Cup and one-time Xfinity series champion were born on May 2, 1985, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Tom and Gaye Busch. He is married to Samantha Busch and has two children. Busch’s elder brother Kurt Busch is also a championship-winning NASCAR driver.  He is the owner of the Truck series team Kyle Busch Racing.

When was Kyle Busch’s NASCAR debut?

After making a name for himself in the Karting, Legend Cars series, and late model series Busch made his NASCAR debut in the Truck series in 2001 for Roush Racing. He made his Xfinity Series debut in 2003 for Hendrick Motorsports. Busch made his full-time Xfinity Series and Cup series debut in 2004 for HMS. He spent 3 years with HMS and then moved to Joe Gibbs Racing spending 15 years before returning to a Chevy team in 2023 with RCR.

How many NASCAR Championships has Kyle Busch won?

Busch won his maiden NASCAR race in 2004 in the Xfinity series with the No:5 HMS team. His maiden Truck series win came in 2005 for Billy Ballew Motorsports, and he scored his maiden Cup win in Fontana in 2005 for HMS. He won the 2015 and 2019 Cup titles and the 2009 Xfinity title with JGR. He has won 60* Cup races, 102* Xfinity races, and 62* Truck races in his career. He is a two-time recipient of ESPY Best Driver Award.
