Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic led the Mavs to the NBA Finals

The Dallas Mavericks were on another level this past 2023-24 NBA season. They reached the 2024 NBA Finals after clinching the Western Conference Finals. However, they lost to the Boston Celtics in the five-game series. Despite this, they had a great season spearheaded by stars like Luka Donic and Kyrie Irving.

Irving was recently live streaming some of his last season’s attacking plays and also dunks. While watching a replay of his dunk, his co-streamers were left wondering how he felt after chucking it down. Irving is known for his calm personality on and off the court and his reaction to watching himself dunk was nothing different.

Irving informed his co-streamers that he possesses a natural jumping skill, so they should not have been startled. However, he did hype his dunk.

Earlier last season, on March 22, 2024, the Dallas Mavericks faced the Utah Jazz at home. Luka Doncic took control of the game after nearly achieving a triple-double with 34 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. However, it was his teammate Kyrie Irving who showcased some brilliant attacking displays to the Dallas crowd. One particular play by both stars went viral across the whole NBA community.

So much so that, it is now the most-viewed video across NBA social media platforms ever. This particular play was spearheaded by Doncic winning the ball of the Jazz defender. He then slickly passed it to Irving, who then laid it up for Derrick Jones Jr., and Jones Jr. finished the move with a monstrous dunk. This video has recorded over 1 million views.

Gafford recorded 24 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Meanwhile, Irving recorded 16 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. Jones Jr. recorded 12 points, four rebounds, and two assists on that occassion.
